The classical concept of a “generation” as a group of people who are born around the same date or a year, and who are raised in one cultural context, sharing similar set of values, beliefs, or being influenced by same things, is slowly being disintegrated as the world changes and modern communication tools develop. Especially if we talk about Balkans, where all the wars, brain drains, decreasing number of population and migrations have caused the demographic structure to rapidly change, we can hardly identify “new generations”, their values, identities and beliefs in general.

Same stories, for different reasons, happen in Western Europe too.
